Pamela Anderson has given her approval to Jessica Simpson who looks set to take on the role of her former character CJ Parker in the new Baywatch film.

Pamela Anderson is a big fan of the 'Dukes Of Hazzard' actress and believes that she is more than capable of assuming her mantle.

Anderson also praised comedian Will Ferell suggesting that he take on the role of Mitch Buchanan, played originally by David Hasselhoff, in the film.

Pamela Said: "Oh my goodness she sure could. Will Ferrell should play David Hasselhoff. That would be hot."
